My name is Kelly, I'm 33 years old, married and a mother of two children, two Funny Kids. When my first son was 6 months old, he was covered in eczema and using sunscreen made the irritation worse. That's when I started looking into the UV-protective swimwear market. 2 years later, during my second pregnancy, I created Funny Kids, an eco-friendly and caring brand of UV-protective swimwear. ♡

Drôles de Marmots is a French brand of UV-protective swimwear for the whole family. The head office is based in Haute-Savoie, in Thonon-Les-Bains. All fabrics are certified UPF 50+, which is the maximum UV protection, and Oekotex Standard 100, which certifies that they do not contain any harmful substances. Over the past four years, Drôles de Marmots has become a benchmark in matchy-matchy swimwear for the whole family, offering collections of matching swimsuits adapted to everyone's body shape: women, children, babies. This year, a big news: we are developing swimsuits for men!

The collections consist of one- and two-piece swimsuits for women, swim shorts for men, and swimsuits designed to make dressing easier for all ages of children. All the patterns are exclusive and the colors bright for a look that remains chic and timeless.

Our commitments

Since the beginnings of Drôles de Marmots, it has become clear that we need to produce more responsibly, creating swimsuits that protect from the sun while minimizing their environmental impact. To achieve this, we have focused on quality materials, local production, committed partners, and recycled fabrics.

Recycled Materials: All solid fabrics are made from recycled materials using ECONYL® yarn, a 100% nylon yarn regenerated from waste materials such as fishing nets. Instead of being thrown away, they are recovered and transformed into quality garments.

European Production: The production facility, specializing in swimwear and lingerie, the printer, and the manufacturer of plain fabrics are located in northern Italy, less than 400 km from the headquarters. By promoting the geographical proximity of our partners, we limit our impact on the ecological footprint.

Sustainable packaging: All our packaging is made from recyclable and biodegradable materials
